Willy Word Tale - GGJ 2025

A cosy platformer-meets-wordgame, guide your wee Willie Wagtail to collect bookworms and use their speech bubbles to grow a majestic (and poetic) tree.
Bookworms' words fill gaps in sentences with nouns and adjectives creating new types of growth.

Made as part of the 2025 Global Game Jam
Our challenge: none of our team had used Godot before.

Controls (PC)

Move - Left / Right Arrow Keys
Jump - Spacebar
Collect worms - Down Arrow & Z
Use 'worms' -  X & select the word to use by pressing keys 1 - 8
